[rtl]The Ministry of Health called on the owners of stores and shops that sell food and beverages to keep them at appropriate temperatures and not expose them to sunlight in order to preserve the health of citizens.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Ministry said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, "Given the country's exposure to waves of high temperatures that may exceed fifty degrees Celsius, which negatively affects the validity of food and beverages, especially fresh or stored ones, and the accompanying effects on human health when consumed."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement called on "the owners of food preservation stores, the owners of restaurants, and stores selling food and drinking water, juice stores, and others, to take into account the methods of storing raw and manufactured materials at appropriate temperatures, especially appetizers and juices. It is strictly prohibited to leave containers of water and juices on the sidewalks exposed to the sun's rays, in order to preserve the health of our dear citizens."[/rtl]
[rtl]The Ministry stressed in its statement, “Health oversight agencies will intensify their inspection tours to follow up on restaurants, public stores, and food factories, and legal measures will be taken against violators.”[/rtl]
