[rtl]Today, Wednesday, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers indicated the size of schools that Iraq needs to eliminate caravan and mud schools, while indicating the government’s plans during the current stage.[/rtl]
[rtl]The secretariat spokesman said, "The model schools completed during the past year are 31 schools distributed across a number of Iraqi governorates."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "A meeting with the Supreme Committee included redoubling efforts and focusing on ending this file and resolving it by completing 1,000 schools during the coming period as a first stage."[/rtl]
[rtl]He continued, "Iraq's actual need for schools is approximately 8,000 schools to eliminate caravan and mud schools."[/rtl]
[rtl]It is noteworthy that the educational sector in Iraq suffers from government neglect and great weakness in developing new schools and renovating old ones, which negatively affects the education process.[/rtl]
