    The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, on Wednesday, that the government will send amendments to the 2024 budget schedules to Parliament within a period not exceeding 10 days.

    Committee member MP Moeen Al-Kazemi told Al-Maalouma, “The Finance Committee will study the amendments as soon as they arrive and then submit them to the House of Representatives for approval,” explaining, “The government is currently putting the final touches to the amendments it made through an increase in the food quota allocations.” And the cost of oil production and the increase in social welfare allocations.”
    It is noteworthy that the Finance Committee discussed with Finance Minister Taif Sami earlier the problems facing the ministry in preparing the budget schedules for the current year, and the plan prepared to fill the deficit. Ended / 25 AD
