Parliament waits for the budget to be sent

The head of the National Reform parliamentary bloc, Hilal al-Sahlani said that “Parliament is following the draft budget, which is located so far in the Council of Ministers.”
Sahlani told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / “All the political blocs are awaiting for the cabinet to send the draft budget to the parliament to start the first and second reading for approval as soon as possible.”
He added that “the parliament insists to pass the budget during the current period and rejects clearly to combine it with the budget of next year.”
The political blocs and popular parties asked the government to send the budget of the current year to parliament for approval as soon as possible.
It is mentioned that the government was scheduled to send the budget to Parliament during the current month ./ End
