The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed that the reform approach in the security services is an integral part of the reform in the rest of the sectors, while indicating that the government is continuing to move the stalled projects in all governorates.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement: The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Security Reform, during which the implementation of reforms in the security sectors was reviewed, as part of the requirements of the Iraqi security system in the post-victory phase over ISIS. The committee stressed the necessity of creating the necessary legal legislation for all sectors and security agencies, in accordance with international standards.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that a package of projects to relieve traffic congestion will contribute to reducing the waste of citizens’ time, indicating that the government is continuing to move the stalled projects in all governorates.
