Today, Thursday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee expected that the current year’s budget tables would arrive in the House of Representatives after the Eid al-Fitr holiday, while it confirmed that the tables were devoid of new job grades.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi, told Al-Maalouma, “The delay in sending the 2024 budget schedules to Parliament negatively affects the projects, indicating that the budget schedules will reach the House of Representatives after Eid Al-Fitr.”
She added, "The House of Representatives will have comments on these schedules and will work to amend them in accordance with the powers granted to it without any new financial additions."
She indicated that "the Iraqi state has been completely halted due to the non-approval of the budget." Ended / 25 H
