The Council of Ministers: Measures to prevent the recurrence of the painful Al-Haritha incident

The Council of Ministers, in its session held yesterday, Sunday, headed by the Council’s Speaker, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, approved measures to ensure that the painful accident that happened to students in Al-Hartha District would not be repeated, including the establishment of schools on both sides of the (Basra-Baghdad) road, and the construction of crossing pedestrian bridges. for (Basra-Baghdad) Street, and preparing and implementing traffic signs and warning traffic engineering equipment for (Basra-Baghdad) Street and industrial speed bumps.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Information Office stated that the Council voted to approve sending (10) million liters of kerosene to Gaza, and receiving the wounded from Gaza to provide them with treatment in government and private hospitals.
The Council approved the issuance of investment and partnership instructions between the public sector and the private sector for the year 2024, and also approved the Ministry of Interior’s gift of (177) various wheels to the Popular Mobilization Authority, and approved the inclusion of the Popular Mobilization Authority in reducing the prices of oil derivatives to be at the approved official price instead of the commercial price.
The Council obligated investors who obtain a building permit or investment permit to build new residential complexes, cities, and commercial complexes (horizontal or vertical), or those under construction, whether by investment or at their own expense, to apply the code for thermal insulation of buildings according to the specifications set forth in the code, in addition to Requiring all ministries, government agencies, and governorates to implement this in their new buildings.
