    Information / Anbar..
Sheikh Abdul Hamid Al-Sattar Al-Dulaimi, one of those close to the Sovereignty Alliance Party in Anbar Governorate, reported on Monday that the severity of the differences between the Sovereignty and Al-Azm coalitions had widened with progress after the failure of efforts to bring viewpoints closer between Al-Halbousi and Al-Khanjar.

Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to the Maaluma Agency, “Major disagreements arose between the Sovereignty and Azm with Taqadum alliances, which is led by the sacked president, Muhammad al-Halbousi, during a meeting to bring views closer on choosing a figure agreed upon by all to elect a new speaker of the House of Representatives.”
He added, "Al-Khanjar rejected all of Al-Halbousi's demands and announced his support for Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani in his effort to accelerate the selection of a new speaker for the House of Representatives."
He stated, “The emergence of deep differences between Al-Halbousi, Al-Khanjar, and Muthanna Al-Samarrai has increased the divisions in the Sunni alliances and made it impossible to move forward as a single team in the next stage. In light of these sudden developments, the three alliances will witness sharp divisions that will eliminate Al-Halbousi’s future and completely end his role in the next stage after all of them failed.” His efforts to remain as a prominent Sunni leader in the political equation as a result of his ill-considered actions.”
It is noteworthy that a number of leaders of the Taqadum Party, led by the dismissed President Muhammad al-Halbousi, had previously announced their withdrawal against the backdrop of al-Halbousi’s monopolization of power and his childish behavior. End / 12a
