    Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: It seems that Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani is striving to calm internal disputes in Iraq, which is evident from his attempts to settle differences and achieve consensus before his upcoming meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House.
    The visit of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, to Baghdad and the discussions that took place during it indicate progress in achieving consensus between the various parties in Iraq.
    It is important for the Sudanese to show both optimism and reservations regarding the truce between the political factions in Iraq, which indicates continued efforts to achieve internal stability before the next meeting. As evidenced by the factions’ confirmation of support for Al-Sudani’s visit to Washington, there are ongoing efforts to reach consensus and overcome internal differences.
    Analyzes considered that strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad is a positive step towards strengthening national unity and joint cooperation, which could contribute to enhancing stability and development in Iraq in general.
    Given these developments, it seems that Sudanese is seeking to achieve internal consensus before focusing on external issues and meeting with the American President, which reflects his keenness to achieve stability and development in the country above all else.

Building internal confidence gives the Iraqi government greater power to negotiate and represent the country at the international level. It also sends a strong signal to the international community that Iraq is working to overcome differences and achieve national unity, which can enhance Iraq’s position in the international forum and enhance confidence in its ability to cooperate and partner.
    Internal consensus could greatly affect Iraq's foreign relations, especially in relations with major countries such as the United States.
    If there is internal stability and national unity, this can contribute to improving international relations and enhancing cooperation in various fields.
    Internal consensus forms the basis for achieving sustainable security, stability and development in Iraq.
