    [Baghdad]

    Held
    on Monday in the Republic presidency discussion session to discuss a
    working paper containing a number of proposals to facilitate the return
    of Iraqi academics from abroad to work in Iraqi universities and reasons
    and obstacles to their return.

    During the meeting, held under
    the auspices of the President of the Republic Presidency Naseer Al-Ani, a
    paper, prepared by the policy unit in the Office of the Presidency in
    cooperation with the u.s. Agency for international development and is
    entitled (the return of Iraqi academics from abroad to work in Iraqi
    universities)

    During today's meeting provided a number of
    suggestions and recommendations for facilitating the return and benefit
    from these competencies and provide various material and moral support.

    The
    head of the Republic Presidency in a speech at the meeting that the
    requirements requires development and change slogan tops the
    institutions and bodies in line with the change in Iraq after a regime
    change.

    He said, "we are reaping the first fruits of the effort to try to draw the return policy academic personnel."

    This
    meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Education Committee in the
    House of Dr. Abd Dhiyab Al-ajili, representatives from the three
    presidencies, and a number of ministries, University professors and
    academics from various universities./ended
