Al-Awsaj told Al-Maaloma Agency that "Anbar's budget for the current year only covers 20% of the city of Ramadi's need, stressing the need to reconstruct, rehabilitate and establish 100 schools at a cost of up to 250 billion dinars to improve its educational situation."
He added, "The judiciary needs a large water project at a cost of 240 billion dinars, in addition to the need for the judiciary to establish the second phase of the large Ramadi sewage project at a financial cost of 340 billion dinars, in addition to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the electrical system and the establishment of new electrical stations at a cost of 600 billion dinars."
He continued, "The governorate's budget for the current year is estimated at 70 billion dinars, which is not commensurate with the extent of the damage in the liberated areas in Anbar, which previous governments classified as disaster areas due to the extent of the damage caused by ISIS' terrorist operations."
