Independent MP Yasser Al-Husseini criticized, on Sunday, the performance of Al-Sudani's government, the persistence of corrupt people in it, and the leaks and espionage cases that appeared in the Prime Minister's office, pointing out the importance of bringing in competent figures instead of supporting corrupt people in sensitive and important positions.
Al-Husseini said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The outputs of the Prime Minister's Office are espionage, corruption, arrests, prisons, charges, leaks, contracts of submission, and exceptions, so what about the government cabinet?"
He added, "There are some competent ministers in the government, but it is not possible to make a ministerial change through which a corrupt person is brought to an important ministry such as the Ministry of Transport, as the Director General of Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, has been nominated for the position of Minister."
He continued: "We cannot trust the future of our children with the current government," criticizing the government's support for corrupt figures in sensitive positions such as the position of Minister of Transport. End25n
