MP for the Fatah Alliance, Rafiq Hashem, confirmed today, Sunday, that the upcoming parliament sessions will witness voting on important draft laws.
Hashem said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The upcoming parliament sessions will witness voting on important draft laws, including the Personal Status Law and the Popular Mobilization Law."
He added, "Many laws that concern the Iraqi citizen and were prepared for a second reading and others prepared for voting will be included on the agenda of the upcoming sessions after being postponed in the previous sessions."
He pointed out that "Parliament is keen to include laws that serve segments of Iraqi society in the upcoming sessions, most notably the Civil Affairs and Popular Mobilization, in addition to other important laws." End/25H
