    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]The Oil Price Network, which is concerned with oil economic affairs in the world, announced that an American company intends to undertake the implementation of the giant Nebras project after the withdrawal of the British Shell Company due to the suspension of implementation. [/rtl]
[rtl]The network said, "The American engineering company KBR has decided to enter into the implementation of the Nebras project instead of the British Shell company, which officially withdrew from the project last February," stressing that "the American company will implement the project, which it described as worth two billion and is expected to achieve significant economic growth for Iraq in the region." [/rtl]
[rtl]The network explained that "the Nebras project, which was launched in 2012, included the establishment of a group of giant petrochemical factories based on the Qurna 1 and Majnoon fields, and achieves annual revenues for Iraq estimated at billions of dollars from the industry, in addition to its great contribution to solving the unemployment crisis and developing the oil industries sector in Iraq to large levels not witnessed since the nineties of the last century," according to its description. [/rtl]
[rtl]It is noteworthy that the British Shell Company began implementing the project in 2015 before its implementation was halted due to the delay in building the factories, which the network said the American KBR Company found in it a "golden opportunity" to enter the project as an alternative to the British company.[/rtl]
