[size=45]The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced that the number of applicants for optional social security has reached more than 5,000 workers.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry’s spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, said, “The optional insurance targets people with simple professions, such as barbers, taxi drivers, and others.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Aqabi added, “Applying for the optional guarantee will be done electronically through the Ur portal, and payment methods will be electronic in the near future,” noting that “the citizen will have a choice in the case of payment, whether every month, every 3 months, or every year.”[/size]
[size=45]He added that "the citizen can move between the categories of optional social security salaries according to his financial situation and its improvement," noting that "the ministry has received more than 5,000 applications to be included in the optional social security," indicating that "the data of the applicants will be verified, after which the wages will be collected electronically."[/size]
[size=45]Earlier, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced that nearly 3,500 workers would be covered by optional insurance during the first half of 2024.[/size]
