Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi announced today, Sunday (July 21, 2024), the launch of a new batch of electronic cards for full-time appointees next month.
The Ministry's media office quoted Al-Asadi in a statement received by "Baghdad Today": "Next month, we will launch a new batch of issuing electronic cards for full-time appointees, amounting to 35 thousand, to be divided into batches during the coming months."
He added: “We will also release the accumulated amounts due to the full-time appointee for the years (2019, 2020, and 2021) starting from 1-8 at a rate of 9 thousand for each meal,” indicating that “according to the new law, the full-time appointee can now (combine two salaries), meaning he receives the salary of the appointee and social care after it was previously limited to only one salary.”
