"

    She stressed the Kurdistan Alliance member, said "the economic and investment commission parliamentary currently working on new legislation for investment ensures the provision of all the ways that ensure the success of the investment," she said, adding "we turn toward a plan to support investment, especially with a crisis that has gripped the country as a result of lower oil prices." 


    For his part, says an expert in economic affairs, Ahmed Fahmy told the "term" that "Basra and other southern provinces, the province suffers from neglect, despite possessing tremendous economic fortunes," noting that "investment opportunities in the province of Basra can succeed in case centered on Iraqi investors inside and outside the country. " 


    Added Fahmy saying that "the required investment conferences exit indicators quantity and quality of the investment, and focus on achieving Add real gross national product, in the sense that the real investments lead to aspects of tangible development, both in development and human resource development sectors or infrastructure for each province." 


    Fahmi said that "certainly the province suffered a lot of neglect and vandalism by 12 years of neglect and events related to terrorism," stressing "the need for the regulator to take advantage of the arguments of Iraqi investment professionals with practical experience outside the country." 
    The committee called for the economy and investment representative, to hold a major international conference to invest in Basra, noting that the province has huge oil wealth in order to be attractive to investors. 


    The committee member said Abdul Salam al-Maliki during a press conference attended by a number of members of the committee and attended the "long", "The government and the Investment Authority and the local government call in Basra to the establishment of a major international investment conference to attract funds and investments and prepare a comprehensive investment plan for companies to build vital projects, especially the infrastructure Basra need private and public of the country. "

    He pointed out that "Basra deserves a lot to achieve the aspirations of the population deprived of access to their rights," adding, "I call on the State Department to hold a mini-conference and invite ambassadors working in Iraq states for the definition of Basra from all areas of cooperation with the countries of the world and its most prestigious."
