The head of the Basra Investment Commission Ali Jasb, announced the announcement of the road as an investment opportunity.
"The announcement was made on the orders of the Prime Minister's Office, Haider al-Abbadi, adding that the Basra Investment Commission is waiting for the completion of information available to the local government about that road, in preparation for transfer to one of the investors."
"The road is an important urban landmark and it will regulate traffic as well as create opportunities for construction projects in the residential and industrial sectors on both sides of the road," he added.
