    The Iraqi list, denied Thursday that the brother of its leader Allawi's
    Iraqi bank owner morning put the Central Bank under guardianship.


    Iraq said in a statement received

    Allawi is not the owner of the Bank (over Iraq), the media reported that
    the Central Bank put under guardianship".


    Media reported that the Central Bank put
    the Bank "over Iraq" under guardianship due to having committed many
    irregularities despite numerous warnings against him, with the aim of
    improving the course of action, and the owner of the barking dog, the
    brother of the leader of the Iraqi list.


    Iraq explained that he was not "the owner
    of the Bank in any day", saying he "resigned from its Board more than a
    year ago in protest against mismanagement, and no longer has anything to
    do with the near or far."


    "The menu said those reports are baseless

    Iraq has seven state-owned banks and
    private banks, eight Islamic banks, according to a Central Bank, as the

    The number of private banks in Iraq to
    more than 30 banks, but did not play a central role in the economic
    development process in Iraq because of a lack of capital.

    the law of the 6th of March 2004, as an independent body and is

    foreign reserves and currency management, as well as banking sector
    regulation to promote competitive and independent financial system.
