    Examined the University of Basra , an oil and gas with the South Oil Company prepared a memorandum ofunderstanding between the two sides to promote the oil and gas industry in Iraq and drawing the future horizons that serve the oil industry in Iraq. 

    He said Rector for Academic Affairs Assistant Dr Ghazwan Nouri Saad in a press statement that " the two sides agreed on several axes It is included in a memorandum of understanding and to facilitate field visits for the students of the University of fields and locations of the South oil company and benefit from theexperiences of the cadres of the southern oil company in the enrichment of the scientific curriculum vocabulary at the university in line with the work field requirements and developments in the oil industry and the contribution of the South oil company in the training of students petroleum sites during the summer holidays . " . 

    he added that he was also an agreement on scientific cooperation in the field of publishing and co-authoring and support versions of scientific journals and facilitate the access of the southern oil company on thedistinctive Alatarih within the university , " in addition to providing the rock and oil models and sections printed maps to use them as a means of illustrations for students and holding seminars and symposia joint annually shed light on all that is new in the fields of oil and gas industry
