Baghdad - and babysit - revealed by the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation, the decline of the poverty in Iraq to 18%, according to preliminary indications, noting it will announce the final results of the poverty level will be the next month of June.
He said the ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi said in a press statement that "preliminary indications of the survey which was carried out by the Ministry of Planning for a map of poverty in Iraq in 2013 showed decline in the poverty index to 18% compared to 23% for the year 2007."
He explained Hindawi that "the objective of the survey is to see the level of poverty in Iraq and their locations and develop the necessary plans to eliminate them within the five-year plans set by the Iraqi government represented by the Ministry of Planning," pointing out that "the survey, which included 311 000 sample is the largest of its kind in the history of Iraq and the region. "
He added that "the sample have been selected from all provinces and distributed between urban and rural areas," adding that "the ministry will announce the final results of the poverty level will be the next month of June" ... p / i
