    The Director of the WHO office in Baghdad , Hana Hammoud, said in an interview to the (long - Presse) that " the organization has implemented projects in Baghdad and Anbar, the support of the United Nations Organization, the economic empowerment of displaced women and to protect them in a crisis, securing adecent life and sustainable income for them especially heads of them for large families, or those who havelost their breadwinner or head of the family during displacement, and have orphans , "noting that" the project focuses on supporting widows, divorcees and women with special needs. " 
    Hammoud added that " the project provided small grants for projects, and organized training courses for dozens of displaced to their education various professions needed by the market in the areas inhabited bythem , " indicating that " the project enabled the displaced in Baghdad and Anbar from opening six workshops and four barbershops and laboratories for producing confectionery and pastries, as well as the sale of food and other mobile phone shop and a bakery. " 
    She explained director of the Office (civil PAO) that these "projects characterized by being a partnership between a group of displaced women with the aim of peaceful coexistence and effective communication among them , " pointing out that " the choice of partners was based on the desire and the diversity of their potential in the Department of Labour." 
    Hammoud said that " the project will continue for six months to come," usually "Such projects will change thesocietal view of women and their ability to demonstrate creativity in production and displacement conditions, as well as being a builder of peace and encouraging stable living." 
    Director of the office and added that " the organization has completed implementation of the sewing cycle, involving seven Displaced from Adhamiya, and like them from Abu Ghraib and six of Nahrawan in Baghdad, with the provision of sewing machines and necessary kit," Msttrdh " The session resulted in the opening of asmall player in the Adhamiya, north of Baghdad, to produce and sell clothes, and that the organization maintains a relay information from which beneficiaries even after their return to areas Sknahn.
