Baghdad calls for activating trade and economic ties with Syria

The head of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, Jaafar al - Hamdani, to re - activate the economic and commercial relations with Syria, while Syrian Minister of Commerce called for the establishment of Syrian - Iraqi Chamber of Commerce common in Syria and finding appropriate solutions to the process of banking and financial transactions between the two countries.

"

He pointed out that "goods and products Syrian admired the Iraqi people and that the presence of a large number of Iraqi merchants in Syria is evidence of the keenness of economic and commercial activities owners to develop and activate the economic relations between the two countries and to ensure the flow of agricultural products, citrus fruits and textiles to Iraq." 
For his part, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Protection Abdullah Western "Syria 's keenness on activating and strengthening the relations of cooperation in economic and trade fields with Iraq , and a willingness to overcome the obstacles that hinder the development of these relations and upgrade them to advanced levels." 
He pointed out that "Syria possesses all industrial, commercial and economic fundamentals , which ensure the provision of the Iraqi market needs of various goods , food, industrial and agricultural products." 
He stressed " the keenness of the Syrian government to achieve and implement the demands of the commercial and economic Iraqi events owners within a short period and bring about a Syrian permanent trade center in Iraq and the establishment of the Chamber of Commerce Syrian - Iraqi joint in Syria and finding appropriate solutions to the process of the banking and financial transfers and work on everything that would develop and promote cooperation movement economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. "
