{Baghdad} Euphrates News confirmed President Fuad Masum, the British Minister of Defense Michael Fallon, the determination of the Iraqis to succeed in the political and community reconciliation and activate the necessary reforms.
According to a presidential statement , the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it today that " the president Fuad Masum , received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Saturday morning , British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him ways to strengthen friendship and cooperation with the United Kingdom on the military and security level relations overall and the need continued international and regional cooperation for the liquidation of terrorism in the region and the world. He also expressed his gratitude to the United Kingdom for its continued support for Iraq in many areas. "
"President infallible welcomed the British minister, pointing out that his visit to Iraq confirms the depth of the joint cooperation between Iraq and the United Kingdom in all fields also come in stage witnessing the success of the Iraqi forces in various different forms in achieving victories remarkable parallel to the feelings of national unity and self - confidence and high morale , which show the double hope ability to rebuilding the liberated areas and to ensure the dignified return of displaced people as well as working to speed up the clearing every inch of the homeland from terrorists. "
The infallible according to the statement , " the determination of the Iraqis to succeed in the political and community reconciliation and activate the necessary reforms to move forward towards upholding the principle of citizenship and the promotion of confidence and national unity as well as the victory in the war against terrorism and to ensure the dignified return of displaced people."
He said Mosul as "representing an Iraq that is minimized and that the success of the reconciliation between the components and reconstruction and the return to a stable and prosperous normal life will be an additional impetus to the advancement and prosperity of all regions of the country and expressed optimism about the future of the democratic system and the return of Iraq to the status of civilization witnessed at the regional and international level."
As President infallible stressed " the need to expand international cooperation to pursue terrorists everywhere pointed to the importance of preventing the birth of terrorist and extremist groups in any way in the future, he stressed that Iraq needs wider support from all our sister states, as well as friendly, particularly the United Kingdom."
For his part , British Defense Minister during the meeting , which was attended by the British Ambassador Frank Baker, my congratulations to his country of Iraq , the big victories that have been achieved in the course of liberation of Mosul process and all Iraqi territory from the control of terrorism. "
