Iraq moves to "electronic government" this year

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Cabinet's General Secretariat announced starting the "electronic government " during this year.
Secretary General Mehdi al-Alaq pointed that this project is one of the "sovereign projects " in the country.
It is expected that the contacts between the Iraqi government al departments shall be made through electronic devices.
80% of the project is expected to be finished by the end of this year.
In most cases, Iraq depends on paper work in the contacts between the state and the citizens.
