Iraqi Premier supports "stay" part of US forces
    10:53 AM ADMIN
Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Premier Haidar al-Ibadi expressed support for the stay of part of US

    forces in the country.

The statement was issued after days of the statements of the US Defence Secretary James Mattis when he called for the stay of part of the US forces after the defeat of Da'ish (ISIS) organization.

Premier made the statement for US Fox News, part of it was published by Russian RT channel.

He pointed out that the US administration did not lay a plan, yet, to confront Da'ish organization, but it is under preparation.

Premier Ibadi expected that the number of the US forces in Iraq will be minimized following Da'ish defeat.

This statement is the first of its type since Ibadi's assumption to his post as prime minister and after few days of his visit to the United States, which may give some answers to the fears connected with his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
