{Basra: Euphrates News} Director of Public Relations at the Iranian consulate in Basra Mohammed Ismail announced the allocation of ballot boxes in the provinces of Basra, Maysan and Dhi Qar to allow the Iranian community in those provinces to cast their vote in the presidential elections and the councils of cities and villages of Iran, which take place on Friday.

Ismail said in a press statement that " the consulate allocated one ballot box at the consulate headquarters in Basra and another in Dhi Qar governorate building and the third in the province of Maysan building, adding that the ballot boxes were opened from eight and a half hours of the morning."
Polling stations opened their doors throughout the Islamic Republic of Iran at eight o'clock in the morning on Friday to begin the process of voting in the 12 presidential elections , municipal and village councils , the fifth parliamentary and complementary.
