Shafaq News / Vice President , Khodair al-Khuzaee discussed on the sidelines of UN meetings in New York with Turkish President , Abdullah Gul , the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them .
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common concern, according to a Khuzaee’s statement received by “ Shafaq News”.
The two sides also agreed to form a committee to work on resolving the outstanding problems between the two countries, headed by the Iraqi minister of foreign affairs and his Turkish counterpart to restore relations between the two countries.
Khuzaee also stressed that the two sides agreed to exchange visits and meetings as it is hoped for Turkish Foreign Minister to visit Iraq soon to start a new page of constructive and fruitful relations between the two countries.
