    Fuel and petroleum derivatives consumption rates recorded inIraq during the past month of August, there were minor differences in some derivatives and other very substantial and large differences in other derivatives, especially white oil, kerosene and fuel oil.


    She saida companyDistribution of petroleum products In a clarification received by Sumaria News, gasoline sales during last August amounted to 1 billion and 21 million liters, while kerosene sales amounted to 1 billion and 398 million liters, white oil amounted to 170 million liters, and fuel oil amounted to 979 million liters.


    In comparison with the previous statistics announced for the month of June, it is clear that gasoline sales in June amounted to 977 million liters, which means that they increased by 4.5% or less if June is considered to be 30 days compared to August, which is 31 days.

This is probably due to the closure of many “suspicious” factories by a government decision to lift subsidies on them, as these factories are suspected of being “fake” and buying subsidized fuel oil for the factory, but in reality they sell it on the black market at higher prices or smuggle it abroad.
