The Ministerial Council directs to audit imports of electronic devices

The Ministerial Council for National Security, in a session held yesterday evening, Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, directed security checks on imports, especially electronic devices.
A statement from the Prime Minister's media office stated that "the Council agreed to grant temporary lump sum allowances to workers in combating drugs in the southern regions."
The Council also listened to a detailed briefing on developments in Lebanon, and stressed the continuation of sending medical and humanitarian aid to treat the injured.
The Council stressed on the border crossings to take the necessary and preventive measures to avoid any possible breach, and to emphasize the security check on imports, intensively before contracting them, and to deal with reliable companies before the import process with regard to electronic devices.
