The Israeli government has bought 70 percent of its oil needs smuggled from Kirkuk when it was controlled by Kurds over the past years, Haaretz newspaper reported on Wednesday.
"The northern Iraqi region is disappointed with the administration of President Donald Trump, while Israel has given up their cries for help," the newspaper said in a report. "Some Kurds were raising the Israeli flag in Europe and now they are punished."
The newspaper added, "Kirkuk oil-rich has gone to the Iraqi government," noting that "Israel was buying 70 percent of its oil from there."
It should be noted that international agencies have revealed on various occasions that Kurdistan sold its smuggled oil to the Israeli entity, which was constantly denied Arbil. Ending / 25
