The foreign ministers of six Arab countries, along with Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, will discuss the possibility of holding an extraordinary Arab summit on the US decision to recognize occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Oman will host the meeting next Saturday to discuss the decision of the United States, the sources added.
The meeting includes the foreign ministers of Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Morocco and Jordan, who are members of the ministerial delegation formed by a decision of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers during their emergency meeting on December 9th.
