This is what happened at the last National Alliance meeting?

It ended a meeting of the leaders of the National Alliance, unanimously to seek ways to provide the appropriate conditions for the holding  [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]the elections , warning of the postponement of the scheduled date.
The meeting, for the second time in a row, in the office of the head of "coalition of state law," Nuri al-Maliki in Baghdad, and attended by a number of leaders of the National Alliance.
The political source said that "the meeting focused on the issue of elections as a priority to remove the country from the dangers of postponement," noting that "Maliki called on the National Alliance blocs to unite to conduct the elections on time, and to overcome all the obstacles that stand in its way.
The source added that "Maliki warned the National Alliance of the consequences of postponement, which will return the greatest damage to the National Alliance exclusively," calling for "to take punitive measures against all those who push for postponement, whether political blocs or official circles."
The National Alliance said in a statement that "the leadership of the coalition met with the Secretary General of the Islamic Dawa Party, Nuri al-Maliki, and discussed the political and security situation in the country, as well as the subject of preparations for the elections."
He added that it was stressed the need to adhere to the Constitution and hold elections on schedule, "noting that" the meeting called on the government to address the issues of displaced people in order to cast their votes freely. "
The participants called on the Electoral Commission to "complete its technical and practical procedures for the success of the electoral process."
