Shafaq News / The city of Ahwaz in Iran, on Saturday, protest demonstrations for hundreds of workers of the steel company.
The protesters carried slogans against the government, criticizing them for ignoring their living conditions, according to the Free Trade Union of Iranian Workers.
"No threat, no imprisonment," the workers chanted during the demonstrations. "It will not work for us."
Many cities in western and central Iran have recently witnessed protests against the government because of the deteriorating economic situation in the country.
