[ltr]In a new twist to the series of developments the world has been pursuing for weeks, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un plans to travel on a foreign plane to Singapore where he is expected to hold a historic summit with the US president on June 12.[/ltr]
[ltr]According to the South Korean Shouzen Elbo, Kim's aging jet has raised several concerns, so the leader of the Communist Republic is likely to travel on a Chinese or other plane from Singapore.[/ltr]
[ltr]North Korea initially planned to fly the 4,800-kilometer flight through the old aircraft, stopping once in China for refueling, but the plan was changed.[/ltr]
[ltr]Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishian paid a visit to Pyongyang on Thursday to discuss the summit arrangements.[/ltr]
[ltr]According to the CNN, the US government is considering the scenario of extending the summit for an additional day, if not all things are discussed during the first day.[/ltr]
