    Najafi and Biden discuss the challenges facing the democratization process in Iraq

    January 23, 2014

    BAGHDAD (Independent) .. Search House Speaker Osama Najafi, on Wednesday, with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden in Washington, the smallest details about the issue of Iraq Bmsarah security and political situation, stressing the need to develop frameworks sound partnership national reconciliation and reinforcing the principle of balance in the institutions of the state.

    He described the statement by the Office of Najafi meeting as "characterized as positive and in agreement visions."

    He noted that the two sides agreed on the importance of giving the provinces their rights in accordance with the laws in force, as Biden stressed the need for the involvement of all components of the Iraqi people, especially the Sunni component of the armed forces.

    The statement touched on the challenges facing the democratization process in Iraq, and how to develop solutions and treatments aimed at removing the causes of their decline, and strive to maintain the democratic gains.

    Urged the U.S. President, Barack Obama, the Iraqi government on the need to address the legitimate demands of the minorities in Iraq all through dialogue.
    This came during talks held with the head of Obama's Council of Representatives, Osama al-Nujaifi, who is on a visit to Washington, accompanied by an Iraqi parliamentary delegation.
    According to a White House statement, Obama has stressed the importance of Najafi and the strategic partnership between the United States and Iraq.
    They also stressed the need for political and security measures in order to confront terrorism in Iraq, where the country has seen since a surge in violence.
    In this context, discussed Obama and Vice President Joe Biden with a delegation of Iraqi efforts to integrate the tribal forces officially in the security units, in line with commitments by the Iraqi government.
    Across Obama and Biden for strong U.S. support for continued cooperation between tribal leaders and the Iraqi government in the face of al-Qaeda.
    Iraq began its military campaign against al-Qaeda and "Daash" after killing a senior commander in the army and a group of officers and soldiers chase them during a number of elements of "terrorist" in Anbar.
