BAGHDAD / The media office of MP Majida al-Tamimi revealed on Thursday the truth of a transfer statement relating to the salary of former Vice President Khudair al-Khuza'i and his residence.
The office said in a statement received by the "Eye of Iraq News", "The social networking sites circulated false news attributed to Tamimi, says that it said that former Vice President Khudair Khuzaie, lives in Canada and still receives a salary of 80 million dinars.
The office explained that "Tamimi did not authorize this," asserting that "this statement fabricated by the lack of conscience, and carries fraud and fabrication."
The statement stressed that "the imaginary sites hired to try to create sedition through the placement of false news about Magda Tamimi," noting that "all the news and statements of the MP is published on its official site only and is not responsible for any statements published in other sites."
