"The visit of the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, to Baghdad is a positive sign and a message to Iraq and the world," Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Bashir Haddad said Sunday.
Barzani's visit is seen as a new step in the improvement of relations between Arbil and Baghdad, after witnessing deterioration following the conduct of the autonomous region, a referendum on independence in September 2017.
