Saw the parliamentary finance committee Wednesday that the political and economic conditions prevailing in the country is appropriate to delete the zeros from the Iraqi currency.
Years ago talking about the Iraq project to delete the zeros from the dinar currency in an effort to reduce the mass of cash and liberalization of the economy from the constraints and enhance the value of the dinar in the International Monetary Fund.
There were claims last year to delete the zeros from the currency after the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII of the United Nations.
The committee member said Haitham al-Jubouri: "No political or economic situation bears open the case because you need the process of deletion of zeros to create and coordinate with fiscal policy and coordinate with the House of Representatives through legislation that covers the conversion of Finance."
He added that it needs to be an economic and political stability in the price of the currency is stable and the increase in the size of the expenditure, likely to see the next legislative session with the new government to open the issue of deletion of zeros.
The International Monetary Fund has expressed its support for the Iraqi economy in the event of his number of economic measures, including raising three zeros from the local currency.
The Iraqi dinar is the official currency in the country and issued by the Central Bank.
