The Communications and Information Authority (CIC) on Monday granted mobile operators a month to improve their services.
"This came during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Board with the directors of Zain Iraq, Asiacell and Cork Telecom, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the presence of the Chairman of the executive board and members of the Board of Trustees to discuss the causes of deterioration and poor communication service in the country, Specialized technical teams to examine the quality of service in all areas of Iraq "
The Commission, according to the statement," a one month deadline for companies to address the imbalances and improve service in all regions, "asserting that" will use legal procedures against companies in case of continued poor communication service.
