China has announced that it will impose tariffs on US goods worth $ 60 billion, following US President Trump's warning of tariff increases, as the trade war between the two countries intensifies.
China's decision comes after Trump raised 10 to 25 percent customs duties on Chinese imports last week and also ordered US trade representative Robert Laitheiser to prepare for an additional $ 300 billion in Chinese goods, which would effectively include all Chinese imports by customs duties.
