The cabinet on Sunday approved a draft law on Iraq's accession to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage.
"The Council of Ministers approved the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on Civil Liability for the Damage of Oil Pollution in 1992 in view of the increasing number of Iraqi oil ports and the ownership of Iraq carriers," Transport Minister Abdullah Laibi said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
