A member of the parliamentary services committee Burhan al-Maamouri announced on Tuesday that work will be withdrawn from the executing companies for the two water projects in Jdeidat al-Shat and Bani Saad from the executing companies due to the delay in the completion.
Al-Maamouri said in a statement received (Euphrates News) a copy, that "the committee discussed during the hosting of the Director of the Directorate of Water in the Ministry of Housing and Construction and municipalities and directors of water departments in the provinces of the country, the reasons for the delay of water projects and the problems of the provinces related to the initiation of these projects," pointing to "The importance of accelerating the completion of the central and strategic implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Construction and municipalities to alleviate the suffering of citizens."
Al-Maamouri added that "the committee was briefed on the financial and technical obstacles that impede the completion of projects to build water networks in all provinces of the country, particularly in Diyala province," noting the "importance of accelerating the completion of the projects of Siraj and Sadah Jabour."
Al Mamouri explained that "the hand of the companies implementing the water projects in the new districts of Shatt and Bani Saad will soon be withdrawn after a delay of more than 6 years," noting that "will be announced again as soon as the completion of legal procedures in the Ministry of Construction and Housing in order to refer to solid companies ".
The statement continued that "Al-Maamouri discussed during the hosting session the subject of the daily procedure working in the Diyala water department and touched on not to give the department for more than 3 years any functional degree," stressing that "will be approached the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction and Housing According to maturity. "
