The head of the Kurdistan Islamic Group, the representative of Salim Hamza, announced that the Kurdish forces will challenge the election law that was voted upon by the parliament earlier.
Hamzah said in a press statement: "The Kurdish forces will challenge the election law, which the House of Representatives recently voted in before the Federal Supreme Court, in case it was passed in this way that contradicts the demands of the demonstrators."
He added: "The political blocs announced their refusal to legislate the law from the very first moment, as it severely damages the demands of the demonstrators."
