    A parliamentary source said that Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi asked Parliament to postpone today's session to another date, noting that Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi insisted on holding it today, Thursday.
    The correspondent / information / said that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi called the leaders of the political blocs to hold a meeting in order to consult about the date of the next session Saturday or next Sunday."

    On Thursday, the Chamber of Representatives witnessed verbal exchanges between the Speaker and his first deputy.
    The correspondent of the "information" said that Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi entered into a verbal argument with his deputy, Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, following the decision to postpone the session to give confidence to the new government.
    He added, Al-Kaabi refrained from postponing the session, stayed inside the hall, and invited the deputies to enter.
    On Thursday, the Presidency of the House of Representatives raised the session of giving confidence to the new government, to another notice formally.
