    A parliamentary source said that Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi asked Parliament to postpone today's session to another date, noting that Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi insisted on holding it today, Thursday.
    The correspondent / information / said that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi called the leaders of the political blocs to hold a meeting in order to consult about the date of the next session Saturday or next Sunday."
    He added, "The Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi demanded that the session be postponed to next Saturday," noting that "Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi insists on holding the special session today."
