The Sulaymaniyah Council forms a specialized committee for economic and financial separation from Erbil

The Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council announced, on Saturday, the formation of a committee that includes representatives of all the blocs to prepare a project on administrative and financial decentralization.
The President of the Provincial Council, Azad Muhammad Amin, said during a statement reported by the Kurdistan National Union website and seen by him / information: “The Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council has formed a committee that includes representatives from all council blocs to prepare an integrated scientific project on administrative and financial decentralization in a way that is in the interest of citizens.”
Amin added, "The decentralization project will have a major role in overcoming the current crises in the Kurdistan region, because every administration can organize its administrative matters on its own, and this will reduce the tasks that lie with the government."
He explained that "the service projects did not reach the citizens properly due to the lack of decentralization, and the centralization system did great harm to the reconstruction of the Kurdistan Region and the employees and trust between the citizens and the Kurdistan Regional Government."?
He pointed out that "What the Sulaymaniyah Governorate Council discussed is a project to implement the decentralization system and not a request to implement the two administrations system in the Kurdistan region, so we call on all parties not to distort our project because this project is in the interest of citizens and the Kurdistan Regional Government."
