Independent High Electoral Commission signed a contract with the German company (HENSOLDI) to examine the electoral hardware software.
The Commission stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the contract came, days after negotiating with this company recommended by the United Nations Office in Iraq, and after that the Cabinet agreed that the Commission would pay a financial payment to (HENSOLDI) without More than 20% of the contract amount, after the company submits a bank letter of guarantee in the full amount of the advance payment.
She added, "This contract comes after commissioning the Diwani Order No. 3 of 2019 to resume negotiations with the aforementioned company, in the interest of the Elections Commission on the integrity and fairness of the electoral process, and in implementation of the articles of the Elections Law No. 9 of 2020, after a lengthy search related to a file The auditing company is closely related to the safety of the technical and electronic procedures related to the results acceleration devices, the devices attached to them, and the transport medium.
