MP Mohammed Nouri Abdul Rabbo revealed, on Saturday, that orders were issued to maintain a strategic line to supply 6 cities in western Nineveh with electricity.
Abdul Rabbo told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The cities of Rabia, Tal Afar, Zumar, Sinjar, Al-Baaj and the rest of the areas of western Nineveh are suffering from an electricity crisis that has begun to greatly affect the lives of citizens."
He added, "We have contacted the Minister of Electricity to obtain his approval to treat and maintain the Iraqi-Turkish electricity line to supply all the cities and villages of western Nineveh."
He pointed out that "the engineering teams will begin within a week from now to treat and maintain the strategic line in order to secure energy supplies to feed all the cities of western Nineveh and reduce the daily power outage hours."
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi-Turkish line is one of the strategic lines that will secure large energy supplies to the cities of western Nineveh. End 25 F
