    Information / Baghdad..
Former MP Wael Abdul Latif confirmed today, Saturday, that the project to extend the oil pipeline from Basra to Aqaba in Jordan is full of ambiguity and lacks transparency. He also pointed out that Jordan does not deserve any facilities due to its negative positions towards the Iraqis.
Abdul Latif told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Aqaba pipeline is a failed project from an economic standpoint, and it is surrounded by a lot of ambiguity due to the lack of transparency in it."
He expressed his regret that "the current government and previous governments are providing Jordan with facilities that it does not deserve, indicating that Jordan deals sectarianly with Iraqis entering its territory, in addition to threatening the resistance to stay away from the Iraqi-Jordanian borders, otherwise it will attack it."
He called on the political forces to "stand firmly against the Basra-Aqaba pipeline project." End/25m
